DIY New Year’s Eve Photo Booth Props

Going out for New Year’s Eve is fun but if you’re hosting a house party instead, there’s no reason it can’t be as fun & glam as an organized event. A really fun and popular element at events these days are photo booths. With a bling background and a few DIY props you can have your own photo fun at your house party.

What you’ll need:
• glitter card stock
• wood skewers
• glue gun
• scissors and cutting knife
or
• cutting machine (Like a Silhouette or Cricut)

For the background, you can buy a pre-made photo background or make your own with some glittery wrapping paper.

You can have a designated photo booth photographer or I highly recommend investing in a basic camera remote control & basic tripod. Make sure you get the remote control that matches your camera.

See below for the templates then cut away, use a hot glue gun and wood skewers to make handles and you’ll end up with these two fun sets of props.

Then after some delicious snacks and a few glasses of your favorite Kendall-Jackson wine, it’s time to have some fun in front of the camera.

Having your own party photo booth is a great and affordable way to get some of that big New Year’s Eve party feeling without the expensive ticket price or having to leave your own home. With social media these days, it’s super easy to send your guests their photos as a fun & memorable souvenir of the night.
