On Thursday we talked about leafing in the vineyards. Mostly, we focused on why it needs to be done – to help our grapes mature – and a couple of the ways that is can be done – by hand or by machine.
Today I wanted to follow up on the importance of this vineyard practice in the second part of our video series on leafing. Vineyard Manager Brian and Malone and discuss why we keep some of the leaves on the vine and what happens to everything that our crews pull of the vines.
