This limited-production blend draws from five classic Bordeaux varietals—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Fruit is hand-picked from our family estates, then artfully assembled into a wine of superb elegance and power.
Terroir driven, Stature is crafted primarily from grapes grown in Napa Valley. Much of Napa Valley’s reputation for outstanding Bordeaux-style varietals can be attributed to the stellar combination of rich complex fruit and tannins. Intense dark berry tones and concentrated tannins come from the mountain appellations of Mount Veeder and Atlas Peak. The Atlas Peak volcanic soils along with Veeder’s ancient sedimentary marine soils combine to produce rich, dark, full and complex wines.
Napa Valley has earned its reputation for outstanding Bordeaux-style varietals crafted with the exceptional fruit from its famous mountain vineyards. Intense dark berry tones and concentrated tannins spring from the volcanic soils of Atlas Peak and ancient sedimentary marine soils of Mount Veeder.
Sonoma’s Bennett Valley, also of volcanic origin, produces the outstanding Merlot sourced exclusively for Stature wines. When combined with Cabernet Franc from Alexander Valley, the blend strengthens the tannin structure and raises the fruit complexity to a higher level. The exquisite dark and silky Malbec component is from our Napa Valley vineyards.
Outstanding Bordeaux-style varietals crafted from the distinct, rich fruit of the Napa Valley. Intense dark berry tones and lush, voluptuous flavors grace this wine. Château-style barrels add rich, balanced oak accents, a rounded texture and a serious, lingering, integrated finish.
