For more than thirty years, Kendall-Jackson has remained firmly rooted in a single-minded vision: grow honest wines of exceptional quality from sustainably-farmed higher-elevation vineyards in California's cool coastal winegrowing regions.
This overarching vision drives our winemaking, and is the catalyst of how our portfolio has grown over the years. From the perennially popular Vintner's Reserve to the single-vineyard-focused Highland Estates to the rare and exquisite Stature releases, Kendall-Jackson wines are an ongoing exploration of vineyard, vintage, vintner and vision.
From mountains, ridges, hillsides and benchland vineyards along the cool California coast, Kendall-Jackson crafts a diversified portfolio of wines—AVANT, Vintner's Reserve, Grand Reserve, Jackson Hills, Highland Estates and Stature—each representative of the true, natural flavors of their origin, either as a regional blend or specific vineyard.

Highland Estates presents single-vineyard wines crafted from our estate properties. Cultivated from a specific family-owned mountain, hillside, ridge or benchland estate, the wine captures the terroir of its vineyard—that particular alchemy where climate, grape variety, soil and site combine to produce the wine's distinct character.
Grand Reserve

Grand Reserve wines are crafted from 100% Jackson Estates Grown grapes which are hand-selected from our vineyard estates. These wines capture the regional expression of the vineyard blocks that we look to year after year. In the winery, artisan winemaking techniques prevail, and aging takes place in small French oak barrels.

Vintner's Reserve represents our commitment to Jackson Estates Grown, grapes hand-selected from our vineyard estates, which is the heart of our winemaking. Every grape for the Vintner's Reserve wines is grown in cool coastal vineyards that are managed by the Kendall-Jackson viticultural team. In the winery, this gives our winemakers a broad palette of aromas and flavors to create the final blend.

Kendall-Jackson AVANT offers a fresh new take on Chardonnay. Bright and refreshing, with a crisp, lean palate, AVANT reveals only slight oak flavors resulting from fermentation in both neutral oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
