    This wine displays Sauvignon Blanc flavors that are unique, true to the varietal, pleasant and intriguing. These include Boxwood or Juniper, guava, fig, grapefruit and pineapple.

    We carefully select certain Sauvignon Blanc lots form our Jackson Estates Grown vineyards to layer together a beautifully crisp and aromatic wine. From juniper, grapefruit and fig to gooseberry and grass, this Sauvignon is aromatic and flavorful. Add in a juicy crisp acidity, it becomes an outstanding food wine.

    A nice mineral backbone over layers and layers of lemon and grapefruit punctuated by light spice and lovely floral aromatics. Partial barrel fermentation adds additional weight and richness.

    This release of Pinot Gris comes primarily from the wind-swept vineyards of Monterey County, where Pinot Gris develops lovely apple, citrus and spice. 2009 was a fantastic vintage for Pinot Gris in our Estate vineyards.
