Pairing: To pair a wine with any sauce, add a bit of the wine to the sauce. See our Wine & Food pairing guide for more information.
How Much to Serve: One 750ml bottle of wine will provide 5 servings at 5 oz each. If you are pairing wine with a meal, plan one glass per course/person.
To calculate the number of bottles you require:
Multiply number of people you are serving
by
Number of glasses (on average) each will drink
Then divide that number by 5
Storage: Store in a cool, dark place that is not too moist. 55 degrees is ideal.
Glassware Care: Rinse glasses carefully and wash in hot water. The slightest bit of soap residue will affect the wine's taste.
To Chill Wine Faster: Add water to an ice bucket. Water fills in the air spaces between ice cubes so that more of the bottle comes in contact with the cold.
Before Serving: Taste the wine. If it tastes young/closed, consider decanting it, or let the bottle sit open for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Special Occasions: For a keepsake, bring a gold or silver pen to an event or dinner and ask attendees to sign your bottle.
