Is this wine still good?? It has been in the cupboard standing up for quite a long time. 


In the cupboard standing up for over 10 years may be pushing it. Open it up and give it a try.

Title:  KJ - Grand Reserve - Shelf Life

Somebody gifted me a bottle of KJ - Grand Reserve. It's been more than 4 years now. Bottle was never opened. It was stored in temperature close to 108 degrees. Can I still use it - Thanks!!!


Best to drink it soon.

Optimum aging temperature is 55 degrees fahrenheit.

Aging effect can go up logarithmically with each additional 10 degrees  fahrenheit.

What vintages of all varietals of white wines are to old?

1.) It is temperature specific not variety.
2.) The winemaking and production style dictates age worthiness, not really the varietal.
3.) The finer the wine, the more care went into it, thus having a longer shelf life.
