Introducing Kendall-Jackson Vintner’s Reserve Rosé

America’s Favorite Chardonnay has a NEW best friend! Is it the kind of friend that pairs with almost any food? The kind of friend that is just as delicious on a chilly winter day as it is in the middle of summer? The type of friend that is perfect on its own – and better yet with a picnic basket and beach blanket? Yes way rosé it is! That’s right, we at Kendall-Jackson are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to the Vintner’s Reserve collection: Vintner’s Reserve Rosé.

This gorgeous pale pink rosé jumps out of the glass with aromas of freshly cut watermelon, hibiscus and apricot. Take a taste and you’ll be greeted with crisp, fresh fruit flavors of grapefruit, strawberry and white peach — yum!

Our Vintner’s Reserve Rosé celebrates the best of our family-owned, coastal California vineyards in Santa Barbara, Monterey, Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. It is comprised of primarily Pinot Noir, which brings brightness and vibrancy, with some Syrah and Grenache, which contribute to the wine’s soft coral color and strawberry notes. Stainless steel fermentation process allows the wine to retain its bright fruit character and freshness, making it ideal for sipping on its own or pairing with a wide array of flavors and spices.

When it comes to food and wine pairings, this rosé is about as food-friendly of a wine as it gets. Here’s a quick breakdown of some fun food and wine pairings to try with our Vintner’s Reserve Rosé:

For those of you with more of a sweet tooth, try Molly Yeh’s Springtime Cupcakes (which are jazzed up with a bit of rosé in both the cake and the frosting) or Katie DeNero’s Strawberry & Rose Eton Mess.

We recommend serving this refreshing wine at 50°F to highlight its intended flavor profile, character, and bouquet. Simply chill your wine in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes (from room temperature) before serving. Visit our wine temperature guide to ensure that you’re serving all of your favorite K-J wines at the ideal temperature.
