This beautifully polished and firm-textured wine seamlessly combines opulent, juicy blackberry and red cherry flavors with subtle oak spices like nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger that top it off nicely. One of the best value statewide in Zinfandel.

Winemaking

This wine was aged 10 months in French and American oak, 18% new. 

 

 

Vineyards

Vineyards are mostly older, if not historic, and dry farmed with well established root systems and low yields. Grapes are harvested from fractured rock and gravelly loam soils with great drainage, showcasing their full potential of great fruit and chalky tannins.
