Stature represents the pinnacle of Kendall-Jackson winemaking excellence. Our inaugural Stature Pinot Noir is crafted from two our family's estate vineyards located in the Anderson Valley, a cool-climate winegrowing region synonymous with producing exceptional Pinot Noir. We hand-picked much of the fruit early in the morning from both the high-elevation Skycrest vineyard that sits between 1,400 and 2,000 feet and the Edmeades vineyard nestled among the redwoods on a hillside above the Navarro River. The final wine is a result of hand-selecting barrels that express balanced fruit, exceptional mouthfeel, and showcases the ruggedness of the terroir.

Hand-harvested, each block is kept separate until the final blend. Fermented in small, open fermenters before aging in French oak barrels to soften the tannins and impart delicate spice notes into the wine.
Established in 1983, the Anderson Valley AVA has become synonymous with exceptional Pinot Noir production. This coveted wine region, nestled within a narrow valley sculpted by the Navarro River, benefits form the combination of cool climate and geography. As the river meanders through the valley and flows into the Pacific Ocean, it carves a path through the surrounding mountains, ushering in cool ocean winds and coastal fog. These maritime influences created the ideal climate for growing Pinot Noir.

The Edmeades Vineyard delivers a captivating blend of dark cherry and vibrant cranberry flavors, with a focused well-balanced palate. The Skycrest Vineyard contributes notes of strawberry, briary, and plum, accompanied by bold, structured tannins and lingering finish.
