12 months in 10% new French oak barrels and 10% new American oak barrels. Artisanal winemaking techniques such as cold soak are used to enhance the fruit character and soften the tannins. Ageing in small oak casks imparts a bit of spice and rounds out the texture.
Paso Robles vineyards give bold, ripe berry flavors and bright acidity. Sonoma County fruit adds black cherry and silkiness.
