Grand Reserve Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2017
Lively berry pie notes are defined in wild strawberry and black cherry, with hints of vanilla. Earthy aromas finesse this bright Grand Reserve Pinot Noir with forest floor and dried leaf tones, leading to a velvety finish and a longing for another sip!

If a little subdued right out of the gate, this well-defined Pinot shows good aromatic focus and steadily gains fruity richness with air. It is not nearly as reluctant in taste and is an agile, well-mannered offering that is again spot-on in focus. It is at once moderately rich and agreeably balanced with a light touch of tannin suggesting a bit of potential with age, but, that said and acknowledging its youth, there is nothing about it that dissuades drinking with dinner tonight.

Ripe, featuring dark plum, blackberry tart and dark currant flavors, framed by concentrated Asian spice notes. Dark chocolate and mocha details emerge on the finish.
100% Jackson Estates grown Pinot Noir. 70% of the wine is from the same vineyard blocks year-to-year, ensuring greater consistency and enhanced complexity with each vintage. Barrel aged for 8 months in 74% French oak barrels, 25% new, with the balance in American oak.
Anderson Valley’s combination of warm sunny days and cool foggy nights and mornings allow the grapes to mature slowly and express the truest characteristics of Pinot Noir.
