Jackson Estate Cloud Landing Pinot Noir 2018
Situated on the undulating hills between the San Pablo Bay and the Pacific Ocean, Cloud Landing is perched in the fog line more often than not, but still exposed to the persistent wind from the Petaluma Wind Gap. The grapes are challenged not only by the wind, but also the cool, long days that make this site ideal for developed flavors and natural acidity in Pinot Noir. Aromas of bright raspberry, strawberry and rhubarb pie with a hint of forest floor and a savory richness on the palate.
Acclaim
92 points, Kim Marcus, Wine Spectator, Oct 2020
Plush flavors of red fruits are matched to viscous spiciness. Pastry and toasty accents emerge midpalate, leading to a fruity finish that lingers with hot stone notes and hints of paprika. Drink now through 2024.
Winemaking
