This wine was aged 10 months in 56% French oak, 8% new. The lots are kept separate until the final blend so that our winemakers have the ability to craft a wine that exhibits the perfect marriage of complexity, flavors and aromas combined with a structured finish.
Growing Regions - 88% Mendocino County, 12% Sonoma County
Vineyards are mostly older, if not historic, and dry farmed with well established root systems and low yields. Grapes are harvested from rocky, volcanic soils that force the vines to fight for nutrients and water.
